MALAISE

I'm thrown from pillar to post
Don't know what I fear the most
My escape plans are littering the ground
Broken window where the world came in
Stomach-churning dose of vitamins
Will help me make the right constructive sounds

I feel I've lost control
Got a riot for a soul
And they're looking for somebody to kill
All their faces are mocking masks
As my decisions are disasters
And the procession is winding down the hill

There's nothing I've ever done
Made a difference to anyone
Of my deeds, there's little to record
Now the river has burst its banks
And all its filth has filled my tank
And its noise will drown my final words

Is this by / about YOU? Your equilibrium will soon be back on an upswing, if so. I am thinking of you. (Really)

Hi Plymouth. Thanks. Yes, it is about me. I woke up in a miserable mood at the weekend and these words poured out in 5 minutes. It was only the flu jab, I think, that made me feel so strange.

Because they're over-the-top, I thought they'd make good lyrics.

Bah! I only had the flu jab once - never again. I think you should steer clear of it. Let the good body do its work. Did you get my package? (I sent it a few days ago to IH.)

Wow. No. Thanks for sending it. Now I have a sense of anticipation :-)
